Embassy Suites by Hilton Winston Salem

The staff at this hotel are all extremely friendly. Breakfast had a good selection and the staff were quick to restock items and clear tables. The location is great, within walking distance of a bunch of restaurants. The room itself could use some work. There was a large gap under the front door, so hallways sounds were very audible. There was also a bit of mold above the shower head and the tub faucet dripped a fair bit. The hvac units in the room were also pretty loud when they kicked on.

From when I called to book, to when we left, we had a good experience. I was glad we stayed here again. (We stayed last year and it was good because it snowed the weekend we were there and the tunnel directly to the conference center is great!) The breakfast they have in the morning is great. My girls and I love the waffles and I like the omelettes that are made to order. If you’re in Winston-Salem and need to stay downtown, this is the best place!

I loved this hotel! Super clean. Staff was so friendly! I enjoyed the breakfast very much! I also loved how organized it was. They had a list of who was in the room and checked off who came. I think it was a great idea to keep everything in order! I do feel bad that my kids left a big mess after eating. I asked the staff where they kept the broom so I can clean it up, they insisted it was okay and they would take care of it which I appreciate them not making me feel bad for it. The hotel room was so spacious and beautiful. We got 2 beds with the living room. The staff seemed like they enjoyed working there which was refreshing!

Outstanding Stay – Above and Beyond Service I truly can’t say enough positive things about our stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Winston-Salem, NC. The hotel was extremely clean, comfortable, and very well maintained, and every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our trip didn’t go as planned — we were in town for the race at Bowman Gray Stadium, but we ended up getting snowed in and couldn’t make it. Even so, the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure the trip was still worthwhile for my father, my brother, and me. They made sure we had everything we needed during the storm and helped turn an unexpected situation into a memorable experience. We also had an issue with our booking, and the front desk resolved it quickly and professionally with no hassle at all. A special shoutout to Bri, Mary, and Penny for taking such great care of us with dinner. They were so welcoming, friendly, and truly made us feel at home. The morning breakfast staff was also fantastic — attentive, kind, and a great way to start the day. Overall, the entire team was amazing. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough, and we will absolutely stay here again.

Located walking distance from restaurants, pubs, coffee shops. The hotel atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is so polite and attentive. The room was spacious for a family of 4, and well-kept. The breakfast buffet was great! Grits, bacon, sausage, made to order omelettes, yogurt, hot and cold cereals... plenty to choose from a picky eater will have something to eat. Lastly, the outstanding staff. Ebony greeted me with a welcoming smile and assured my Hilton points were added. Lashanda and Sandra made sure everyone enjoyed breakfast with cleaned tables and assuring the area was maintained. I highly recommend this Embassy.

I booked the Embassy Suites because of its proximity to the conference I attended. It was right across the street from the convention center and walking distance from all types of restaurants. The FREE Breakfast was better than most at standard hotels, with this one offering a made to order omelet station. Alicia was the cook and she did an AMAZING job cooking the omelet to perfection! The staff worked as a true team, helping each other out during busy times, and simply checking in wherever you were. Waiting to take the elevator up to my room, a staff member asked me if everything was going alright during my stay. Little things like that make a difference. The rooms were spacious. My room came with a separate living area and conference table, that allowed me to meet with colleagues after the event, and debrief. Overall, a great stay for a great value. I will be returning the next time I’m in Winston for ANY business function.

This Embassy Suites was such a wonderful experience! The girl who checked me in (I forgot her name) was amazing! She upgraded my room because they did not have any rooms available of the type I selected. I was shocked that she gave me a 2 bed/bath suite on the TOP floor! Loved being able to leave the the curtains open to wake up with the sun rising over the city! Breakfast was also amazing and loved the coffee! Definitely recommend this place!

The rooms are a bit dated, but the space of my room was enormous for just myself. And with that said, the staff was probably the friendliest hotel staff I have ever encountered from my numerous years of traveling, so kudos to them. And the kitchen served some of the best tasting sweet potato fries I have ever eaten, so kudos to them as well. This is definitely my go to hotel when staying in Winston Salem
